WHAT IS AN EYE-HEIGHT IN A FRAME?

Eye height in a glasses frame refers to the vertical position of your eyes within the lenses when you are wearing the frame naturally. It is an important measurement used by opticians to ensure that the optical center of the lenses aligns correctly with your pupils. Proper alignment helps provide clear vision and reduces strain, especially for prescription lenses.

Lens Centering: : One key aspect of eye height in glasses is lens centering. If the eye height is measured incorrectly, the optical center may sit too high or too low, which can distort vision. This is particularly important for lenses like progressive or bifocal lenses, where different viewing zones depend on precise positioning.

Comfort & Visual Experience: Eye height affects comfort and visual experience. When measured properly, it lets you see clearly without adjusting your head. This makes activities like reading, using screens, or driving more comfortable and natural, highlighting the importance of accurate eye height measurement in glasses fitting.
